In this course, the design task was to create a conceptual high-rise building in a few weeks time, set in the Sluisbuurt in Amsterdam. The goal of the course is to rethink the idea behind high rise, without going into many details.

Each block is sorted in a similar way: the bottom level is public; the second level is commercial and the levels above are dwellings. The façade is a curtain wall with wooden beams connected to it.
